What online presentation software should I use?

I'm putting on an online informational presentation - I'm not sure whether or not it will be at a specified meeting time in a conference room or a link that I will send out for people to look at in their own time. I want to make it look semi professional (or at least not totally amateur) Right not I only know how to use powerpoint and I've put an OK presentation together but I'm wondering if there are better programs out there that I should be using.

Please feel free to give me as much info as you want as I am a total novice

It has to be PowerPoint. I agree with the ohter answers, too.

It is the universal presentation software and where ever you are you can always get hold of a laptop with it on to do a presentation in an emergency!

I understand that some people don't like to use microsoft office products, but this is one of the best and is universal to boot.

honestly, i've always used powerpoint & that's all i ever will use. i think it's the best one to use:)

PowerPoint is good, send them a copy so they can look in their own time. You can do them in pdf, flash, html, etc. But why bother, you have the most professional software already
