What would think if you turned around and saw your married boss smiling and looking at you?

I was talking to a business man who was in the office, and I turned around, my manager was smirking and looking at me. I couldn't tell if he was specifically thinking something about me or just listening to the other guests in the conference room he was in. I didn't want to encourage anything so I quickly looked back at the person I was talking to.

what is smirking?? That is different from smiling. is the "smirk" a come-on look or a look of interest or a look of disgust? Think body language. Was it a look llike "i want you" or just a friendly smile (which is not a smirk). Smiling is a whole different matter. If he was just looking at you with a friendly smile, smile back and slowly look back at the person you were talking to. Only time will tell just what that "smirk" meant.

Gods forbid someone is able to smile in the office. You don't even know what he was looking at or thinking about, and yet you're guessing it was about you? How old are you?

I think you are either paranoid, or dressing too revealing. maybe he was thinking of something from a conversation he just had, who knows? if his other behavior around you is normal, then stop creating a problem.
