Where can I find california state labor laws related to hostile work environments?

I experienced a work situation where my CEO became engraged and threw his cup across the conference room. He's had such outbursts before. I feel that I cannot return to work due to the hostile situation he's created and I'm wondering what legal recourse I have, if any. My company is a start-up and therefore doesn't have an HR department.

Call the labor board and talk to an agent.
If there's a safety issue in the workplace, they'll deal with it.

idk

If he threw the cup at you, you have a harassment case. If not, then you don't.

Hostile work environments require repeated incidents. One incident cannot create a hostile environment.

From the few facts you have provided, I don't think you have any legal recourse, other than to quit.

The following website will give the details in the state of California.

I would start with the California Labor & Workforce http://www.labor.ca.gov/

http://www.leginfo.ca.gov/cgi-bin/calawq...

It can be tough to get through, but I know its all there.
