I want your ideas ?

Hope all is well with you. I'm working in a company dealing with industrial projects. I propose an idea for improving co-workers performances. I suggested to present a presentation about the different topics, I mean each employee prepare themselves to present a good presentation in the conference room. my suggestion might have different purposes like having more self confidence, public speaking, updating knowledge and... My manager has asked me to give my idea in writing and told me to highlight the purposes of my idea, which purpose do you think is the most objective ?

I presume that you are talking about management employees. In that case this is a good suggestion because it will encourage the employees to do research on the company, it's products and procedures, and the goals of new product development. It could help them gain a new depth of knowledge about what is happening within the company and it's product lines. Also, it would help them gain experience with presentations concerning the company. I would presume that these purposes would benefit the company more then just the acquisition of self confidence and public speaking skills for the employees although these skills are obviously important.

You could do a comparative analysis of the benefits of each skill and knowledge base that you wish the employee to acquire through this project. You could also have the employee choose a specific area to do a presentation on rather then trying to cover the entire company. Hopefully this would focus the attention of both the speaker and the audience on one area which could generate more interest in that area. This would provide an in depth presentation of one aspect of the company rather then a shallow coverage of everything the company does and would help to develop their research skills also.

By the way, try working on your writing skills as it was difficult to grasp what you were asking for with this question. Grammar was bad, there was poor use of adjectives ("Which purpose do you think is the most objective?" How about a modifier for objective--"important objective"? or "I suggested to present a presentation" about the topics. I think "I made a suggestion that employees develop a presentation about different topics concerning the company." would convey your question in a more understandable fashion. Or any sentence of your choosing that convey your ideas so they are easily understood.) Normally I wouldn't make suggestions like this because I wouldn't want to offend you, however I presume that you want to impress your boss. This kind of writing won't do it.
