What is the best Mini DV camcorder?

Im looking to purchase a mini dv camcorder to record events in conference room like setting . I would like for it to have 3cc and at 10-12x digital zoom? any suggestions?

Aiptek camcorders are great for this type of recording. There's also Mustek and D'zign.

I own and prefer Aiptek. I have a DV4100 and it records up to 80 minutes of continuous video, direct to digital for storing on a computer.

I don't know how much you want to spend, but I would consider the Canon GL2 ($1,950). Another option is the Sony VX2100 ($2,150) (See links below). These camcorders will give you enough control over the manual settings to record a good picture. You'll have great color and can take advantage of the White Balance features so the color is correct under florescent lighting.
