What examples have you seen on the job of employees whether known or anonymous destroying things? |
Has anyone ever experienced employee sabotage at work? Many years ago worked at a place where the very fancy conference room table (with inlaid wood in the shape of the company logo) was found broken one morning. The CEO was so mad, he questioned everyone and had the building give him a copy of who had signed out late that night -- figuring something that big would make a lot of noise so it had to happened off hours. My exco-worker, Tim, broke the scale ("literally"). He was fired. Are there people that you suspect? Possibly security camera. We have a guy that doesn't sabotage. He's just got mental problems and he'll throw things and stuff. He slammed his phone against his computer screen and broke both. I work in a pawnshop and I am always breaking ugly jewelry which I would be embarassed to sell so I can sell it as scrap. If the owners ask why I am scrapping a certain piece I can say that its broken Many years ago I was a laborer refirbishing a shopping mall. The walls were metal stud, open above the drop ceiling. The walls of a sporting good store were literally *full* of sporting goods. I can't imagine that that company could thrive with that level of loss, but I will never know, because it was long closed by the time I was there to break the walls and find the sporting goods. |

Well, it depends on how big the hot plate is! It would be easier to make the hot chocolate in a crock pot and spoon it out with a ladle. Everybody knows someone with a crock pot!
