'&' deletes the rest of the line exporting Outlook Calendar to Yahoo Calendar. What cause? Fix?

Is " & " some special character to hide the rest of the line? I am thinking that there is some ASCII character that is getting interpreted in one of the programs.

I have a schedule for conference rooms in MS Outlook. There are other people that need to look at the schedule. These other people are not on my network, so I have been Exporting the Outlook Calendar to a Calendar.CSV file and Importing it into my Yahoo Calendar online for them to look at.

Some meetings occupy both rooms, so I have been putting A & B down to indicate busy. The entry may look like this:
"Sales Group needs rooms A & B for most of day."
When I look at the Yahoo Calendar after importing the .CSV file, the entry looks like this:
"Sales Group needs rooms A"
It chops off the & and the rest of the line.
