How do I get Messenger 8.0 to display names the way that 7.0 did?

I have several Yahoo screen names, and when I like my name to reflect the name I am using in that window. example, if i am talking to person a, my screen name might be AMP, if i am talking to person b, my mane is Kayne, and so on.

The new versions of Yahoo from 7.5 and up don't do this

i'd like to make this new ahoo display the names that way the old one did is this possible, and if it is not , how can we implore yahoo to change it back.

this is very annoying in more than just private windows, it also irks me in conferences, and chat rooms. If there is no way to revert, i will just switch bak to 7 and use windows messenger

I'm not sure if I'm any help here but I have my main id and then two other alias id's on the same profile for other reasons. Most of the time I'm using my main id, but when I need the other two there is a box at the bottom of the message window of the person I'm chatting with that allows me to choose which id is sent, but I think that's only when I send out the message. I have set one of my aliases as default for when I go to a chat room and if I want to use my main one there I have to switch it. Hopefully that may have been of some assistance.
