Why are the Republicans in my town crying so hard tonight?

BOISE, Idaho - Idaho Republican Sen. Larry Craig will resign from the Senate amid a furor over his arrest and guilty plea in a police sex sting in an airport men's room, Republican officials said Friday.

Craig will announce at a news conference in Boise Saturday morning that he will resign effective Sept. 30, GOP officials in Idaho and Washington told The Associated Press, speaking on condition of anonymity. all the Republicans in the nation say they will feel sad. They said "Craig" was one heck of a toe tapper.

A real phony and glad he fell from grace. Now he can openly campaign for gay candidates and stop the religious right attack on nice gay people...he's welcome in our washrooms any time

Actually, Republicans in Idaho might miss Craig. He brought in lots of pork. His replacement won't be high enough in the seniority to bring home as much earmark bacon as Craig hauled in.

i wonder if the gay, i mean guy, flushes at home. Anyway i suspect they are crying because they are losing a great environmentalist, how many other people pick up toilet paper off public bathroom floors.

Nobody in my town is crying. Larry Craig is a disgusting pig and that's the one thing everybody here agrees on. Republicans and Democrats both.

Nah, they'd really be crying hard, as in rivers, if Idaho had a Democrat governor. As it is, Idaho's governor is Republican and will appoint a replacement from the GOP.
