Are trains easier to use for very large men?

My last position had me traveling extensively for the last 10 years or so and durng that time I would eat out all the time and usually overeat all the time. I gained a lot of weight, about 400 pounds, and now weigh 620 with a very large waist (almost 100 inches) and am very wide and round. I have a new position that has little travel but I am supposed to go to a conference in a month or so. I know getting on an airplane is very hard for me because I know I will not get down the aisle and will have to use two seats (I have been doing that for many years now but I could fit in the aisle then - barely). Do the Amtrak trains have more room. For a picture of my size see my Yahoo 360 site or imagine one man taking almost all of two airline seats and filling the space so much that there was no room to lower the table or let the chair ahead come back much.

I would say that's a good idea for you. Amtrak trains have comfortable seats. There are always empty seats even on commuter trains so no one will try to sit beside you. Although the ride is longer, you can sleep better and bring your laptop and work, get on the internet, talk on the phone. There's also a dining car, but the food's not that great so you might want to bring healthier meals with you.

Train may be cheaper but the trip is a lot longer
