I was once at a multicultural conference and a muslim man gave a speach in halting english insulting we western women as nothing but prostitutes, and mind you all the muslims at the room clapped.
I got my turn and this is how i spoke.
' muslim women do everything we western women do, only difference is that they do it in secret while we do it openly'

Way to go for being brave enough to speak your mind like that. You made a v good point. I couldn't decide who's more honest, from the point you're making it would seem the Westerners. We need to understand each other not point fingers.

well done, I would have done the same, they only carry on like that because noone stops them. let them have it I say, How an earth can you tar everyone with the same brush, because it is racist if western people say a similar thing to them.

Rule number one in my world...never generalize unnecessarily unless one has proof. This means that I cannot prove that Westerners or Muslims are all honest or dishonest...because there are honest ones and dishonest ones in almost any group you choose.

You are not wrong for answering back...because those Muslims who agreed with that foolish Muslim Man are all ignorant (as though Britney Spears and Paris Hilton are the representatives of all Western Women). However you could have gone with much more wittier ways of answering back (to make them look even more stupider and dumber than they already were). Note however that I do not condone or support prostitution...thats for another time to talk about.

To make "Islamic Scholars" think about what they are saying don't act like a teenager and speak random insults (like a rebelling teenager) to people who will automatically then turn against you, not because of what you said but of how you said it.

Learn Islam and then refer it to what they say, you should have asked them who gave them the right to insult every woman in the "Western" world, I was told that muslims believe that every person is a potential muslim, therefore he has no right to put down anyone through implication or insults. You could have put him down by using his own faith against him.

Note that doesn't mean using random ayats out of context to attempt to prove a point, make sure it's all legit and you haven't misunderstood any of it.

They always make out they are better than anyone else, while in the meantime they murder their own family members for not marrying someone they are told to marry, they need to get a combine harvester out on their own garden before telling us to to do a bit of pruning.
