Italians are you proud that an Italian manager is managing the English national team?

If an English manager managed another national team i would be very proud although that will probably never happen as we can't even get an English manager to manager our own national team!

I wass watching Sky Sports and they asked some people in Milan what they about Fabio Capello becoming the new English manager. And one guy said that he "was a very bad choice". He was probably a Inter or AC Milan supporter. I thought that it was only AS Roma fans who dont like him because of his fall out with Totti.

I wasn't surprised Man. U. beat Roma last season. Just expected it to be more of a 2 - 0 than a 7 - 1. Roma gave up after they were down 4 - 0.

I think he's overpaid. I hear he's going to make a record 12 Million Euro's a year. It's no wonder he's happy to have the job.

I'm not Italian, but an English coach will never coach a top rated team. They do coach lesser teams. Its surprising for me that for quite some time, England has had to resort to foreign coaches being a top rated team and all.

We are glad the English realise they have no idea what they are doing and are finally giving in to their superiors

proud??? in what sense??? if lippi manage england i would be upset why a world class italian tactician coaches human stupidity called england!!! but i would be proud an italian took England to SF of WC, something NEVER achieved by english.

but with capello i am glad the fools of england got another fool. capello is NO master tactician. he's either luck, a fluke with reasonable tactics. he always managed strong teams with a good group of footballers. with milan, how could ANYONE lose with milan in 1994?? then all the scudettos, with juve everyone knows how they won. lippi is the man who made juve what they are known for today. with real, he got lucky big time!!! capello is just lucky idiot.

He's a decent..always playing a defensive style of football.., too demanding.. the English which is a bunch of ego hollywood stars in their premiership will feel the tension of being under him.
