Girls, why is she doing this and what should i do?

There is this girl that i am good friends with. Well she and i are in a class together. She sits next to me and every few minutes she will run her fingers through her hair, fiddle with her pen or paper, touch her face, or put her hands in her lap and like rub them. We our teacher says something funny she looks over at me, laughs, and sometimes says something about it. She never really talks to me though. We hung out b4 school started and we talked alot, but since school started she wont talk to me. She talks to all of her friends and my friends, but never says a word to me. She will sometimes say hi to me in the hall or she will say something about me while i am in the room and laugh about it. When she sits with her legs crossed she has her foot pointing towards me. When we go to conferences and etc. she usually sits next to me

She didnt act this way this summer. She and i spent most of it together and she was more outgoing. She flirted with me alot too, but i was afraid to tell her how i felt cuz she had just gotten out of a relationship. when school started is when she started acting this way. Her ex came crawling back to her and sucked up to her and everything, but she still acts the same way. We had a bonfire one night and she left him to come talk to me about one thing we did this summer. everytime she is with him like at a ball game i catch her looking at me or over in my direction. She has always acted this way around me eventhough we are really good friends. This summer is when we really talked to each other alot and she flirted with me alot. She even held my hand, touched my upper thigh and my chest, but i was afraid to tell her how i felt cuz she had just gotten out of a long relationship. Does she like me, and if so why is she acting this way?

and the reason she behaves that way,
is probably another way to get your attention.

i know sometimes i can do that alot around a guy i like.
cause he makes it hard to breathe.
but they never notice that i'm trying to make them notice.
i'm more of a natural and i'm guessing she is too. ^^

Tell her how you fell !! Maybe she feels the same way !! maybe it is just her way of showing it !!

sounds like she likes you. Maybe she wasn't acting that way in the summer becasue she didn't realise she had feelings for you at that time. And now that she does have feelings for you , she's not sure what to do or how to act, or is too shy to let you know. Ask her if she wants to go see a movie next weekend.

Talk to one of your other friends about it.
By the way,she might be preparing a suprise and doesnt wanna talk or shes sad.Ask her!

she likes you, she is acting like that because she wants your attention...she wants you to look at her in a different way, as a sexy girl you are attracted to, she trying to catch your attention
and i think the reason why she stop talking to you and started doing all those things is because she wants you to look at her in a different way.some other girls will just come clean; like just tell you to your face that...i guess maybe she is shy or afraid or doesn't like to make the first move.
