Girls, whats up with this girl?

There is this girl that i am good friends with. Well she and i are in a class together. She sits next to me and every few minutes she will run her fingers through her hair, fiddle with her pen or paper, touch her face, or put her hands in her lap and like rub them. We our teacher says something funny she looks over at me, laughs, and sometimes says something about it. She never really talks to me though. We hung out b4 school started and we talked alot, but since school started she wont talk to me. She talks to all of her friends and my friends, but never says a word to me. She will sometimes say hi to me in the hall or she will say something about me while i am in the room and laugh about it. When she sits with her legs crossed she has her foot pointing towards me. When we go to conferences and etc. she usually sits next to me. Why is she acting this way? please help me i think she likes me, but im not sure

yea dude she probably does. start talking to her more....i mean, if you wanna eventually date, you're gonna have to talk to her sometime, won't you? it's ok to start casual conversation, it's not the end of the world and no, it doesn't mean you're desperate for her. just talk, that simple! =)

p.s. is she shy? that's probably why she gets close to you w/o actually talking to you. she's nervous and wants you to smooth things out by being the first one to talk. make the first move! good luck!!

She probably just hangs around with you when she has no one else to hang around with.
(No offense, I'm sure you're a great guy.)
But yeah. When her friends are there, she wants to talk to them. But when they aren't, she's probably a little lonely.
And most girls fiddle with their appearence 24/7.
Although, we do tend to do it more around guys we like... :)

Shes not going to like just talk to you or flirt with you for no reason. If u like her then like talk to her then you can tell if she likes you. Shes probaly confused like if u like her. so...yea

sounds like she likes you, but the foot thing, forget that it means nothing whatsoever. Try and talk to her, ask her if she is going to the homecoming game or what ever, ask her about home work or if she likes school or what teachers does she hate. small talk can seem to be pointless, but it can definatly have its advantages.

she might like you, but might not want to admit it to herself and she probably has other girlfriends that are more important to her. If you like her back, make a move.

Guys that are confident enough to get up the guts to say something are sexy.

Why not just start talking to her? Try and start up a conversation and see how it goes. Maybe she's intimidated by you? Are you more popular than her? Maybe she's looking to you as some sort of role model. I don't think that it mean she necessarily likes you in a dating way. Maybe she just envys you.

sounds like she likes u. thats how i act when i like a guy. if u like her too, then show it. and she may juss be shy. im the same way. i will look at a guy and smile at him and laugh, but i wil hardly say anythg. so flirt back and see where it goes. sounds like u have a shot if u take it!

but thats off subject... i think yes she might like you. but there is not always hidden in meaning in what girls act or do around guys. she fiddles with her pen and hair and stuff. So do I! it doesnt mean im madly in love with the guy sitting next to me. But she might like you. I really dont know.
