Does anyone else think the internet should be more careful?

Ok so i was om comcast watching videos and there is this commercial about celebrity pictures. So i think to myself about this really funny celeb pic that i found a magazine a while ago. it was really funny, a celeb trip and made a hilarious face. Anwyas and search celeb emarashing picson the internet . I say some funny ones but i thought there would be more if i on quoted it. so i do that go to the web link and click search. I alot of links came on. i just clicked a random one and it was NOT a funny pic. No it was a porno site and pictures and videos of people having sex. I was grossed out! i tryed to exit but it wouldn't let me.So then i did back space and every time it went back to the porno site. Until i pressed back space so many times it finaly went back to search. I checked to see if my filter was on and it was. Does anyone else think that the internet should be more careful, I mean an inocent kid could've seen this. I would like to see other people's thoughts about this matter.

if you have kids then you have a beefed up security against stuff like that...besides most of the internet is porn!

So you were jerking....and you couldn't get out of the site before someone caught you? Is that what I'm reading? The internet has things far worse than vaginas and peepees. Let's hope your kids never stumble on any of those things.

If you're worried about your kids, set up parental controls.

This is a hot topic. Honestly, if your children are going to use the internet, there are programs to limit the websites they can view, and that's the solution for most parents. I think that's what you were asking. There's no actual "internet" that can "be careful."

definatly!! and plus kindergardeners are starting to use the internet now these days. i wonder what the teachers would say if one of those nasty sites popped up

Yes. I had that happen to me a long time ago. Every time I closed the porn pop up another would open. Not cool for kids. Why do you have to agree you are legal age to enter one of those sites, but they can just pop up randomly?

life won't be careful. you could die (see a porno site) or you could not die (not see a porno site) it's sort of like life.

You have to be very careful what you click into and watch yourself. I have it so I can temperary unplug my phone cord from the back of the computer. I am use to it when it freezes up the only way is to unplug the cable connection. Then it fixes its self and I can plug it back in. They say don't turn off the electricity so I use the phone jack thing.
It is no different then clicking out of the internet. It is fast and easy to do. removes you immediately from the internet.

Do you want the government to raise your kid or are you gonna? Don't take adult fun away because some stupid adult decides to ignore their kid. What ruins kids more? Guns bombs murder, or sex.
