Can expansion of the base area of FUSELAGE of commercial passenger aircrafts be a good solution to prevent incidents of bottom pinching or bottom slapping of AIR-HOSTESSES by pervert male passengers like the one that happened in MUMBAI in a GO AIR aircraft when one passenger took advantage of the situation and did that shameful act to one AIR-HOSTESS as she was leading him to his seat before the takeoff. Expanding the fuselage area will give more space for the AIR-HOSTESSES to walk and prevent their body from being in close proximity to the passengers. The best solution is to mete out exemplary punishment to the pervert which will give the message of zero tolerance for such incidents. No, pervy old men should just keep their hands to themselves and not touch what they can't afford! that is a possibility..but widening the fuselage means you need bigger engines that burn more fuel because of the increased weight..with fuel prices being so high, I would not expect your proposal to have any chance of implementation. |
