Eliminate odor in commercial space?

I am going to be moving upstairs from a bar & restaraunt and was wondering if anyone can suggest a good way to eliminate the smell of smoke and food from the space below without masking it with some other smell. I was assuming there must be some sort of air purifier or neutralizer that could be used that isn't extremely expensive that would help keep the smell of a bar from rising up through the floor every day. I saw this site http://www.myodorcontrol.com that talks about some crazy thing invented by NASA but there are another million other things that come up on a google search and I would be VERY interested in hearing if anyone else has solved any similar problems in the past.

The odor is the least of your worries if you plan on sleeping!
Best thing to do is find another place to live where you can get some peace & quiet!
Not to mention that your chances of being in a fire are increased 100 fold if you live above a bar/resturaunt!

Rent an ozone machine from your local tool rental company. Let it run for 24 hours without opening up the apartment. But be careful, read cautions on the machine. You can't go in there while it's running. This will remove all the oder from the walls, floor, etc. Once all the smell is gone, then you have to decide which air purifier you want to use to keep it oder free. The better ones are pretty expensive. There is a charcoal filter you can get fairly cheap that goes into the cold air return on your furnace. Works well but only while the unit is running. Open windows as much as possible.

Baking soda is a GREAT odor remover, try it out.

However to cover a large commercial space, I am not sure.
