If Virgin Galactic sold raffle tickets to be a pasenger on the 1st commercial space flight, would u buy ticket

and if you won would to go up and fly in outer space?
Do you think VIRGIN Galactic should have some kind of a lottery to raise money and give a chance ot a random person to be among the first to fly in space?

This was my fantasy until I realized at the age of 10 that my eyesight would probably disqualify me from trying out for the astronaut program. Of course, back then they didn't accept women anyway but it never occurred to me that that was a detail worthy of my attention.

I'd buy a dozen tickets and if I won, I'd give my seat away to my sister who is a rocket scientist, has a PhD in Physics and DID try out for the program but didn't make it.

Sure, I'd buy a lottery ticket, and yeah, I think that's a good idea. But all you really do is float around up there... you don't get to do anything fun like walk around on the moon or anything.

Then again I guess they wouldn't want your average layperson walking around on the moon.

But still, that sucks.

But seriously, I'd do it because it would be an incredible experience to see the world from up there, potentially help with anything they were doing during flight, and to write about the experience.

What a waste!

If I could afford to buy a ticket, then I would prefer to wait a while. I'm not one of those people who has to be the first to do everything. I would rather wait until the bugs have been worked out on the flights and when ticket prices are lower.
