Any place online where you can look for apartments for rent in the Philippines...Cagayan De Oro City? |
Looking for an apartment and a possible commercial space to rent out starting in May of 2007. Thanks. If I were you I would forget about trying to find an apartment or commercial real estate in the Philippines online unless you just like giving your money away. You will be far better off to go to the Philippines and locate a place on your own and then negotiate the lease contract on your own with the help of an attorney. Properties listed on the internet with Philippines based realitors are way over priced. They will assume that because you are a foreigner that you have money to burn as will most other filipino citizens because they have no concept of your moneys worth in your own country. They all see you exchange your money for their peso and the exchange is so great that they automaticly assume that you are rich and you will be unable to convince them other wise no matter what you say to them. Save yourself a lot of wasted time and money and just go there and find a place on your own. Do more research on operating a business in the Philippines , if I remember correctly a foreigner can only own a business in the Philippines if he has a filipino/filipina business partner and that partner owns at least 51% or the contoling interest in the business. Report It Trying to start a business on your own may turn out to be a big headache if you are not well prepared Report It With all of the corruption you probably will need a local partner to help you determine who to pay off haha Report It I would say look up realtors in the phillipines - just yahoo it or google it. Realtors usually have both listings -- for rentals and sales. Also they may be able to give you an insight on where to look for commercial property.
