Why in the name of san juan hill MUST there be a commercial between EACH yahoo music video?

It is driving me to the point of wanting to boycott the advertisers at all costs (both in the sense of money and ease of access). So yes, I am paying a little more or even something else altogether so long as it is not something that bugged me while TRYING to listen or watch Yahoo music. Snickers, energy bars, PEPSI, Cingular phones ( got verizon now!), Pontiac Autos... please, why, is it to pay for web space? You mean the record companies don't chip in to get their artist or song in front of us so we will either buy the album/CD/tape or even buy a download of it. So while Sony owns a wide variety of companies, I am thinking I just need to give up the Yahoo thing.

unfortunately, yahoo crams as many ads in as they can, because it's free for everybody to watch. ad revenue plays for the bandwidth...just like ads pay for newspapers and radio and television networks. paying for premium service gets rid of most of the ads, but they're still there. and as for the record companies, they're probably already paying somebody to get their artists exposure (payola, anyone?) - but that's not going to stop yahoo from getting a few extra bucks out of the situation. they have shareholders to report to, as well.

it sucks, but unfortunately, nothing's ever free - but, there's never ads for stupid crap if you go hear local bands play! besides, the best music videos are the ones that happen LIVE. :)
