Bored rabbit?

okay,i have a rabbit.3 months onld only.but i got this problem:i duuno what to do to so that she won't be bored.i feed her daily,clean the water etc but after that,most of the time,she get really bored and just sleep in her cage.i know it's normal but i want to know how not to make her bored.i play with her sometimes but i don't want to what-do-you-call that?over handling or something?i know it's ridiculous but my mom says that the rabbit will be stressed if handled too much.what should i do know?what should i give her?

just tell me and if there's any ideas,i want to make them jsut myself to save money.a home made toy or something.any ideas for the rabbit?

There are toys on the market made specifically for rabbits. Mine has a small football and a plastic ball that jingles when he pushes it. If you don't have a lot of money, go to your local tip and see if there are any plastic pipes that you can cut down to make tunnels, etc, or wood for making hide outs.
If you have a decent size run, put tunnels and hide-outs in it, make a mini 'play park' for her, and it should help improve her mood. Not a good idea to get another rabbit unless you are experienced enough to socialise them properly as rabbits can be vicious to one another.
Rabbits don't like to be handled too much, as when you pick them up to cuddle them, they think they have been caught by a predator, and so struggle to get away.
Encourage her to you with treats and stroke her head and ears etc. If your patient enough you will be rewarded by her comming to greet you when she knows you are there.

i have a female rabbit too and she did the same things.
get another rabbit to live with her, if you dont want them to reproduce a whole army of rabbits then get a female rabbit they get along with each other, but some dont so dont just put them in the cage at first let them play in the run together or borrow a friend or familys female to see how she reacts with another rabbit.
at first when you put them together they may hump each other but its their nature and should calm down the longer there together.

I would NOT get another rabbit. Adding more pets anoly componds the problem. Make sure your rabbit has something to chew (wood). Most wood you find outside or in a hardware store is no good since it may have something on it that is posionous. For that reson i only get chew toys from the store. Look online for discount pet supplies? I heard that there are some small unfinished wood pieces available from craft stoes that might work. Horses like to play with empty milk jugs-so you could try something smaller for a rabbit (a water bottle?) Make sure they dont shred it and eat the plastic though. Any kind of ball is good too. Shelves to hop up onto as well. Oh also, paper towel and toilet paper tubes for them to chew (geribls like them-never tried with a rabbit).
