How do you handle rude family members?

I have several and I always speak my mind. Because I always call people on their rudeness, it usually causes even more problems. What do you do?

I keep quiet most likely, but if they ask my opinion about themselves..... I will spill out what I think, may not like, but they asked! In general, I obviously won't make time or look to hang out with them except maybe see them once a yr. during holidays.

just dont let them get to u. my father in law came to visit while i was heavily pregnant and said go on woman get in the kitchen and make a brew. hormones and everythin i still managed to keep my cool. my husband made the brew and gave me an apolagetic look but i didnt marry him for his dad

I ALWAYS HATE BEATING AROUND THE BUSH,SO I SPEAK MY MIND AND WHOEVER DON'T LIKE IT OH WELL THEY CAN GET OVER IT OR DON'T COME SEE ME,BUT THERE'S ALSO TIMES I LEARN THE HARD WAY IT IS BEST 2 WALK AWAY.

There is a saying, "Nothing disturbs your enemies more than "IGNORING" them"!!!!

I keep my mouth shut. The more they talk, the more foolish they look and therefore nobody can accuse me of saying anything.

Stay away from them. FAR away. It helps and I don't have to go to therapy anymore.
