My ex has asked me for time to think, what should I do?

"I'll try to keep this as short as possible. I'm not asking, and haven't been asking anything of you but to just give me space so I can move on. I don't think you know how hard it is to go a week without talking to you, i get urges to txt and call you everyday and I've been trying as hard as I can to handle things right. I love you and I haven't done anything besides love you, the right way. If you found somehting with someone else and it makes you happier then you were with me then i am happy for you. There is nothing I can do to rid myself of the feelings I have for you besides time and meeting new people, and I'm trying so hard. I know you may not mean to hurt me by messaging me but imagine being in my spot. I absolutely love you and that isn't going to change overnight. I hope you find real love and you are treated right. i'm standing strong on that i love her and want her back, she left me because she was losing feelings and didn't know why...i'm pretty sure she was tempted by someone else and she admitted it was stupid of her to leave

my plan is to stay strong on that i love her and i figure i might as well go all out and not give up becuase if i truly love her i wouldn't do that...of course i realize at a point it is retarted to keep trying but recently she's asked me for time to think

Gosh, how much time will you waste waiting for someone who said they needed time and than regretting it when you can't get that time back. You still need to go on with your life. The best thing you can do to try and get her back is live your life and stop allowing her to know how you feel. When someone has that much power over you, they will do this. Yes, it hurts, but your chances of having her is greater if you stop sending her messages and being there when she wants you. Been there and done it..wasted 3 years of my life wanting someone who didn't even care enough to tell me he had someone else. Yes, we still talked and that is where I got the hope, but now I look back and think of what kind of fool I made of myself.
