How much time should you give your girlfriend to have the space she wants? Is there such thing as too much? |
My girlfriend wants some time and space to re evaluate our relationship to see if she wants to continue. Right now she feels pressured by me and feels that us dating might have been a mistake. I reassured her that I would back off and let her handle the things she needs to handle. She has two kids and dedicates a lot of time to them. I told her that I want to be with her, her kids and in her life. Her last boyfriend was immature and I feel that she compares him to me because of our age. She's older and I'm the younger boyfriend. But, I'm not sure how much time is good enough. After a certain point it may or may not be over. Will she call me to let me know? I'm sorry to hear of your situation. The best thing you can do for your girlfriend is let her come to you when she is ready. If you go to her too early her questions/doubts may still linger. I know it's hard to love and care for someone and then have to let them go (speaking as I'm in a similar situation) but if a person is unsure it's the best thing to do. Just dont call her, let her call you. Believe it or not I have found that when things are going bad, the best thing to do with women is let them cool their heels and just think things through. When she's ready to talk, she'll call you up. |
