Honest legal advice!! please !?

This past weekend I was a victim of assault by two women ages 25 yrs old.. I am also 25 . They were drunk , and basically mad that the guy they wanted had approached me . (jealousy). One of the girls was my best from since elementary , and she has a problem with handling her alcohol as well . We were celebrating her sisters bday and purchased a limo for the night . she came at me 3 different times , and then the other girl also did . finally at the end of the night , they cornered me into a court , and attacked me ..throwing me on the concrete .(i was wearing a dress) , and repeatedly kicking and punching me in the head .. I has already called the cops , and this happened while I was waiting for them .. I finally got away and ran to a nighbors house .called 911.. the girls were hancuffed and questioned . cops took several pics of my injuries. one girl had prior domestic record(jail). now, they are turnign around & prssng chrgs on me for defending myself...what do I do??

their charges won't stick, itis just a negotiating ploy.

best approach is to ignore it, have their trial happen first, get the conviction, then ifyour trial happens, testify that the facts of the case have already been decided and entered into the record in the other case.

if theirs happens, and they plea out, make sure they allocute what happened and what they did.

Get a lawyer ASAP. If you cannot afford a lawyer, one will be appointed for you if there is any jail time involved. If you can afford to hire a lawyer, by all means do so.

Get a lawyer, but if what you say is true, I find it unlikely that you will face any trouble.
