How do you feel about McCain's temper and his ability to handle foreign affairs without making enemies?

Washington Post:

If McCain is truly a serious contender for the presidency, it is time the rest of the nation learned about the John McCain we know in Arizona. There is also reason to seriously question whether he has the temperament, and the political approach and skills, we want in the next president of the United States."

Newsweek:

McCain's furious temper anger and quick temper are a lifelong character flaw, according to Newsweek: "As an angry toddler, he would hold his breath until he passed out (his parents' cure was to drop him fully clothed into a bathtub of icy water)."

Congressional Record:

In 2006, the Arizona Republican congressional delegation had a strategy meeting. McCain repeatedly addressed two new members, congressmen Trent Franks and Rick Renzi, as 'boy.' Finally, Renzi, a former college linebacker, rose from his chair and said to McCain, "You call me that one more time and I'll kick your old ***." McCain lunged at Renzi, punches were thrown, and the two had to be physically separated.

Reality-denier McCain will tell you to this day that the incident never took place.

The Real McCain:

Three reporters from Arizona, on the condition of anonymity, also let me in on another incident involving McCain's intemperateness. In his 1992 Senate bid, McCain was joined on the campaign trail by his wife, Cindy, as well as campaign aide Doug Cole and consultant Wes Gullett. At one point, Cindy playfully twirled McCain's hair and said, 'You're getting a little thin up there.' McCain's face reddened, and he responded, 'At least I don't plaster on the makeup like a trollop, you c***.' McCain's excuse was that it had been a long day. If elected president of the United States, McCain would have many long days.

Barack Obama:

" . . . there isn't anybody in the Senate today who hasn't seen McCain lose his temper."

Bob Smith (R-NH):

"His temper would place this country at risk in international affairs, and the world perhaps in danger. In my mind, it should disqualify him."

Thad Cochran (R-MS):

"The thought of his being president sends a cold chill down my spine," Cochran said about McCain by phone. "He is erratic. He is hotheaded. He loses his temper and he worries me."

John McCain:

Over the years, no one has written more intimately about McCain's outbursts than McCain himself. "My temper has often been both a matter of public speculation and personal concern," he wrote in a 2002 memoir. "I have a temper, to state the obvious, which I have tried to control with varying degrees of success because it does not always serve my interest or the public's."

He screwed around on his wife then married that scary blond one whole month after his divorce was finalized.

He's a senile ticking time-bomb who doesn't give a damn about the troops so his anger management issues come as no surprise to me.

"As an angry toddler, he would hold his breath until he passed out."

An angry toddler? Dude, I think you're stretching just a wee bit. I'm sure McCain can keep his anger under control when meeting with Vladmir Putin, President of Germany.

NcCain is a Warmonger whose favorite song is .............

Bomb Bomb Bomb

Bomb Bomb Iran.

I would not trust McCain anywhere near a button he could push to start WWIII. He has no business being in the White House, with no diplomacy and no respect for the Constitution.

how about when Obama gets mad and walks off when reporters ask him about Resko? Obama acts like a little kid who does not get his way!

What temper? The media liberal media has blown this all out of proportion.

Nice smear - no substance whatsoever!

It doesn't really matter to me because he won't win anyway.

as long as he is not a communist he can be as Mad as he wants

He will be just fine!

I think having Grampy McSame would be like George Bush never left the White House. No diplomacy, no intelligence, no respect in the world. If he has such little respect for his rich, young wife who gave him the money to achieve his political aspirations, how much respect can the American people expect from him?

He would be as much of an embarassment as the current occupant and make the world a much scarier place to live.

(Wow! Dropping a toddler into cold water? This explains a lot. I guess he could stand any water torture if his parents were doing this when he a small child. Isn't this child abuse?)

Funny how the "Liberal Media" ignores Hillary;s temper, and Obama's ignorance of everything. All of us have a temper, it makes us human. Ignorance can be cured, MR. Hussein Obama is just ignorant to the ways of the world. he speaks really well, unfortunately he has no idea what he's talking about. Hillary's temper has been written about by Clinton staffers, but the media chooses to ignore it. Mr. Obama also had some explosive disagreements while in the state legislature, when he tried to punch out one of the other senators there. Temper???? Only Republicans have one I guess. Read and be informed.

He is an angry man. That is not good for someone in the position of President. We need someone that is not so emotionally involved. When you are emotional (anger is an emotion) then you are more apt to make rash and foolish decisions.

I think McCain is a jerk. I didn't think so until I heard him speaking more. I will not vote for him. I'm not succumbing to fear and hate. That's what the Republicans inspire in people.

The debate about McCain's temper isn't very serious. He's an experienced politician and adequately diplomatic for the job. It's his age, his policy positions (esp. on the war), and his inability to adapt to the current political mess that worry me. His temper is his wife's problem.
