i sent a txt to the guy i've been dating for the past week or so. at first he was calling 4-5 times a day and texting constantly. well, over the past couple of days i've hardly heard from him. compared to how it was anyway.
so i sent him this:
"is everything okay? u don't seem as talkative as b4..just makin sure everythings alright."

does that sound needy or anything? or was it okay?

he replied with "it's straight jut been recouperating and chillin with friends" (he's been away from home and working alot)

so i said that i figured that but just makin sure

did i handle that okay? i just like to know if something has changed, but don't want to come off as needy, because i'm not. it's just that i got used to him being one way and want to make sure the change has nothing to do with us.

Well, I'm glad he shared time with you and he took your comment as inquisitive because of his cut off after texting so frequently. He sounds like, if he has time or free time to spare you get a lot of messages, and when he hangs out with his friends you are put on the back-burner. Needy implies you can't do a life without him constantly or for too long. A balance would be nice, and maybe he is the needy one. Texts you when he needs to because he is bored or has spare time.........

you are ok. its important to find out what is happening if you see change that way you wont be sorry if something comes up later.so you are soooo fine.its cool ask.
