I am too thin? |
i have to ask this cuz its bothereing me. i eat like a normal person but when i was a bit younger like two years ago i didn't eat much, dont know why i just couldn't handle food, any way, you know at the bottom of your neck you have these two bones and they go up to your shoulders, i think the bone is called a collor bone i'm not sure but anyway you can see it. i can see it on me i mean. is that normal or am i too thin? my mam did tell me it was normal but when i see skinny women on tv the dont have that bone sticking out. im paraniod!! am i too thin? thanks in advance. It doesnt neccesarily mean your too thin. I lost 80 lbs, and before i lost it i couldnt see my colar bones, but now i can. it just means you are slim. The ultimate way to tell if your underweight, is eithor to go to your Dr. and see what he/she thinks or there is a site that calculates your body mass index (bmi) and it will tell you if your weight is healthy.. That's your collar bone, aka the clavicle, and it's totally normal for it to be sticking out. It all depends on your bone structure. Most people on TV do indeed have it showing. It's only when you have a layer of fat covering it that you can't see it. If you are eating normally then that is all that matters. If you know that you are healthy and you are happy with the way your body looks then who cares what anybody else thinks. well you could see mine even when i was over weight so that doesn't really determine whether or not your under weight we need your Is it sticking out a lot then yeah , If not then no. I can see mine and I'm not too thin at all. If you still think you might be too thin check your BMI. your fine, some genetic structures are built that way, you were born thin, look at your family, are they thin too? i can see mine ... people say im skinny but im more just small :( can you please add your height and weight? thanks, you will get wayyyyy better answers give us your stats and we'll tell you my collarbone sticks out heaps aswell, its normal though |
