Me and my girlfriend are working on a ling distance relationship. We really care for each other but when I asked her to come out and visit (i want to show her around my hometown and theres a lot to do so it wouldnt be boring) she told me she needs to work etc. We are in college and not to be mean but her job is around minimun wage. She told me her one week of pay is more important than visiting me. How do i take that. She has a lot of money saved up, its not like shes hurting and needs every penny by any means. People are gonna say its because her job low paying she needs it, but believe me when i say she doesnt really buy anything. idk, my feelings were hurt a little when i get texts and calls that say i miss you etc etc but she hits me with "my paycheck is more important to me then seeing you." do i suggest less time? idk how to handle this. Serious answers plz. Thanks all! Sounds like you need to grow up and stop whining. She has a job - it makes no difference how much she makes. She made a commitment to her employer. You need to have a bit more respect. If you want to see her so bad, go to her. No problem. I need kicking from time to time too. Report It Well, you should make a plan to either get her to come to your hometown or you go to her hometown.
