Staining on only one tooth?

I have (and always had!) problems with one of my front teeth staining a lot faster than any other teeth - It gets really brown. I used to have a type of 'tooth scraper' (hard, black, sort of gritty, cone shaped thing on the end of a normal toothbrush handle) which was the only thing which ever helped in between dentist visits. I threw mine away after ages of use meaning to replace it but have never been able to find another one and chemists look at me as if i'm insane when I try and describe it them!!

It's my brother's wedding in less than two weeks and I'm desperate to get rid of the stain! Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It's called a tooth stain eraser and they sell them in Superdrug. I'm sure you know to go careful with those things as you can end up taking the enamel off your teeth!

I don't know the name of that thing, but it is probably not good for your teeth.

You might try a tooth whitening gel for temporary whitening, but I think you need to talk to the dentist. Something is wrong with that tooth. Maybe some of the enamel has been damaged from scraping.

Using an abrasive to clean your teeth is not a good idea, instead get a propriety brand tooth whitener.
