I hope i don't sound crazy..?

ok so i am around 6 weeks pregnant with our first child! we're really excited and also extremely nervous because we had a miscarriage back in january. i don't want to be calling my doctor every time i feel a little pain or twinge but i can't keep myself from worrying about everything! i really feel like everything will be ok but i don't want to ignore any possible signs or problems. the following is some examples of what i've been feeling:

short stabbing pains in lower sides- not all the time
dull throbbing that is sometimes sharp in lower pelvic region
some throbbing and pain in vagina
some kind of shooting pain up and down insides of upper legs
little bit of rib pains on either side that doesn't last long

i think that's mainly it. i haven't had ANY bleeding not even spotting and none of the pain has been severe or more than i can handle. i was wondering if anyone else has experienced these or if they sound like trouble coming? i'm trying not to stress. thanks for the help!

You absolutely do not sound crazy! Being pregnant is a whole new world and there are SO many questions that will pop into your head at the oddest times. The little twinges, pricks, and pains that you are experiencing are completely normally and will continue to get stronger as the baby grows. It is very common to have a dull ache in your sides and to feel sharp stabbing pains in your vagina. Just try to take a deep breath and relax. Good luck!

Sounds normal, just try to relax... I'm 6 weeks pregnant also, and I am so worried about this baby not having any kidneys, because my first didn't.... Just relax thats basically all you can do, and if you do misscarry.... There isn't anything anybody can do. Doesn't sound like trouble is coming... Sounds like your pregnant. Ha

everything sounds normal to me ive had 3 children and experianced it all.. the best thing for you to do would be relax and not try to stress yourself over loosing your last child... make this as easy going as you can.. but since your not bleeding i think your fine.. but if anythying worsins i would definatly call ur doctor just to be reassured! good luck hun

I'm 19 weeks and I've had all those pains... they are completely normal... just your stomach muscles and uterus stretching out!

Good luck with your pregnancy!

No worries...i have had all those pains. Even now, my tummy muscles are stretching!
You will be fine!

hi!!

I never had a miscarriage but I know that when you have a miscarriage you get heavy bleeding and veryvery bad pain in your abdomen. I was worried sick too... just cause it's my first and you never know... but I learned to relax... because stressing will make it even worst. The pain your feeling right now is just your uterus getting bigger and muscles around it are stretching... that causes shooting pains... I still get them and I am 20 weeks. Just take it easy and unless you bleed very heavily... you are fine. I bled 2 months in the beginning.. but still managed to relax and take it easy... and the doctor told me I had a 50% chance of miscarrying. I am sorry for your loss btw... i'm sure it must not have been easy. Good luck with this one and baby dust to you (whatever that means) haha :)
