Why do people want to take away from your success/happiness, and just add drama?

Many people I see nowadays just want to negate, take away from a person's success and happiness, and want to add drama,or screw that person over somehow. Why are people like this?

Why are lots of people like this?

How do you properly handle them, because I HONESTLY feel like going up to them and totally telling them off, literally and then calling the cops and suing them and making a huge production out of it because those people f8cking suck.

Can anyone please enlighten me here?

I'm generalizing but I'm asking (and hoping) that the majority of people AREN'T LIKE THIS?

I mean, I hope not, but so far it seems like many are, and I'm hoping that's just the minority.

It's sick, I've had people cut me off in traffic and tailgate me and do all sorts of crazy things, and just add drama, or in person acting all hateful, rolling their eyes, and not liking me just by walking by me; it's absolutely ridiculous.

I personally don't know if it's just America or the world that's like this but at least here in America there is such a bipolar, rushed, and absolutely NUTS pace of life and people just go all crazy and act like psychos to one another. In public, on the highway, wherever.

They're miserable and out to get you in a sense.

How do you honestly deal with this, without getting bitter, negative, depressed, or mentally sick like they are?

I'm in the NJ/NYC area so MAYBE that's why I feel it really bad, and I'm sure parts of miami or CA are bad too.
