Dad in jail?

im 15 and when i was 13 i found out my dad the one that has been here for me my whole life since i was born wasnt my real biological dad, it crushed me thus i began cutting myself and i still do at times, but now im 15 and my mom told me that she found me real father and that he is in jail, and that im going to go see him, im scared anxious, and worst of all nervous idk what to say or do, but do you know how hard it was to hear that the guy i have been calling dad my whole life isnt a part of me, it was like somebody ripped my heart out of my chest and just ran over it with a 16 wheeler truck, and now i have to deal with this dad, but im just so angry at him, i wanna just curse him out and leave, but i cant, i want to get to know the other side of me that i never knew, because even before i found out that my dad wasnt my biological dad i always felt like a part of me was always missing for some reason, and now i know why, just plz gimme some adivce on how to handle it and what to do,

This is a shame. Sweetie you have so much life ahead of you and you will face so many more issues that are way tougher than this. I understand that you feel hurt and lied to and all these other crazy emotions but you really should be thankful that this man stood up and accepted you as his own for so long. A lot of men don't do that. Your mother did what she thought was best for you which was actually a good decision. Before 13 years of age you were too young to understand the concept of real dad and why he wasn't around and all of the other complications that come in a situation like this. So you really need to stop cutting yourself because this is not the big deal that you're making it...this is not worth killing yourself over.

Your real dad will probably do more talking than you when you see him so just play the conversation by ear.
Go give your step dad a hug and tell him how much you appreciate him stepping up when your biological dad was no where to be found. And remember that the older you get the more trials you'll face and you'll have to learn to work through them and not cut yourself.

when you get there, calm down dont look scared and say. " dad, my real dad, what happened?" in a lovely soft sweet voice, or something like that dont be nervous, hes locked behind bars, he aint gonna kill you lol, i bet he idnt do anythin gthat serious! does that help a bit?

you dont have to stop calling or loving the dad you always known if he was the one there for you and cared for you and know andlove him as dad then is is your dad

any man can be a father(sperm donator)but it takes a real man to be dad

if you want to meet you bi father that is normal you have the right to be angry and want answers but just treat him as any other stranger anfd talk like you feel comfortable doing if it goes well great but if not you have not lost your dad he is at home worring about you as always
if you do go forward and develope a relationship just remember to let dad(the one that has always been there that you dont love him any less and you have enough room for others in your heart with him
