I have a Pantech Duo C810. Bluetooth technology is awful! What can I use?

I have been using this phone for 6 months, and I really like it a lot. But there is no place to plug my tried-and-true hands-free headset. I purchased a bluetooth headset, but the sound quality was terrible. I purchased another of a better quality and got the same result. I finally purchased a third and spent quite a bit of money on it. But the quality was just as bad.

I can't use my phone while driving any more, because the people I call cannot hear me well enough. I spend quite a bit of time in my car and it is helpful for me to be able to handle phone calls during that time.

What are my options?

I *want* to go to a wired headset. But there is no plug for a wired headset on the phone.

Have you checked the headsets are compatible with the phone? Really all headsets should work with any phone which has bluetooth, but from time to time you may notice some work where others don't.
Pop the phone into your local phone shop and ask em to have a go and see if they can help you out.
If all else fails...it may be time to go back to the hands free wired devices!
