Is trying to stop loving someone and times when you just stop loving someone without knowing,the same??

i don't know if my q is weird!!!
but can you really say that if you try to stop loving someone and succeeded same as when someone just suddenly doesn't feel anything for the one she used to love???
as my ex told me that she tried to stop loving me and that now it the case...(by hanging out with other guys and so on)
but i'm trying so hard to do it and move on...
but i just feel that trying to stop loving someone is like lying to yourself!!!
as no matter how bad she hurt me i can't stop loving her,i've told myself so many times that i don't love her anymore but that doesn't work!!!even try to hang out with other girl...but yet my feelings are still here!!
it already 3 months...
and all i see is that she has move on...as she is dating another guy...i don't know how she can do that!!!as once she told me she miss me...but she could still handle not to call me!!!
is it so easy to lie for her or hide her pain??as since she broke up she was acting as if she was so happy!!!

Lying to yourself will only make your feelings bottle up inside. If you guys had a serious relationship it could take a long time to get over her. She could just as easily be faking her happieness. Just hang in there and hopefully those feelings for her will fade.
