I just got back from my date?

for a while, it went well. We were eating at Olive Garden, which is an expensive restaurant for a college student, but it's worth it, and so was she. Then my phone rang. My mom was calling. I answered it, because my grandma has been sick and I thought it might have been an emergency. mom was just checking up on me. I said hey mom I'm busy, i'll call you tomorrow. bye, love you. Click. 22 seconds. I apologized for that and continued talking to her. then HER phone rang, She answered and I assumed she would do the same as me. Nope, she kept talking to her friend about some stupid show, Desperate housewives or whatever, I didn't really pay attention. this went on for 15 minutes before she hung up. I took great offense to this. But I handled it maturely, paid the bill, left a tip, then took her back to her dorm. Now how should I handle the aftermath? I decided I'm not calling her back because that was a total insult to me. what do you think I should do?

I can see how that would be insulting. On my first date with the guy I'm currently dating, I left my cell phone in the car. His brother had been really sick, so he had his with him just in case, but he explained everything in advance and I was okay with it. The idea of going on a date is to get to know each other and whether or not you're compatible, she obviously wasn't interested. I would say don't call her back, but if she calls you, tell her why. She needs to know what she did was rude.

That's disrespectful and comes off as immature. I say you don't call her back unless you really really think she's worth it.

Cell phones ugh they ruin relationships before they even start. I think it's so rude and obnoxious when people are on there cellphones when they are right there with you. Don't call her back.
