How do I report a company for fraud? |
I ordered 2 steam buddy's from the website. The website shows 5.98 shipping and handling per unit. I ordered and got charged almost $32.00 for shipping. I called and was told that shipping was extra for the bonus items that were free with your order. If that isn't fraud I don't know what is. I wasn't even given the option of refusing the bonus items. Would like to report them for fraud or at least warn others about them. Where do I begin? I called and cancelled my order the next business day and they said they would forward it to corporate. That was on a Friday. I called today Monday to verify that it was cancelled and they cannot find my order, so I can only assume they cancelled it even though they were supposed to contact me within 24 hours. I just feel they should be reported to somebody to hold them responsible for their actions. Fraud pure and simple. If you charged your order on a credit card, you can begin by disputing the charges with them. Many credit card companies are very willing to mediate these sorts of problems, and you may even get your money back. Also, there are different websites for rating companies, so go find these and leave comments. If you truly believe this to be fraud, you could file a complaint with the post office and your district attorney's office. Good luck! BB Bureau is a scam.
