Having family issues and was wondering what you would do...? |
Since the death of my special needs son 3yrs. ago, my family (grandparents, aunts, etc.) does not speak to me at all. While he was alive they didn't want the responsibility and admitted to me that they had doubts in me taking care of him. I was 100% dedicated to him, the Dr. even said that at his funeral. They don't even call to see how my 2 girls are doing. (They are 4 and 5 years old) How would you handle this? I have tried to talk to them and it does not work. My Mom helps on her terms and their father lives here w/us. My father and my Step - Mother does nothing for us either. i say if your own family is that negative towards you forget them. i mean i sure you have enough to worry about without them so get on with your life negativity is the last thing you need. still say a prayer for them but dont go making yourself look desperate. One can choose friends, but not relatives. You're better off rid of them. Think no more about it. i agree with torgo |
