Stay friends or try for more?

So i have been in love with this girl for 3 years. We have been close friends for a long time. Last year we dated for 3 months, we were both very happy till one day she said she couldnt handle having a boyfriend and dealing with school. so we became just friends again. We are starting to get closer like we were when we dated. We do everything together, two weeks ago she had a party for her birthday, she invited about 10 people, guys and girls, and told me that everyone was spending the night. well at the end of the night everyone and it was just me and her. she said i was the only one that could spend the night. So we were watching a movie when we started kissing a little. we stopped and didnt say anything, we fell asleep next to each other. we hung out for the 30 hours stright. we had a great time and she kept saying it was the best birthday ever. We still do everything together, people call her my girlfriend and she just smiles. Should i ask her to be my girlfriend for real?

i say talk to her about it and she doesn't u guys will just stay friends it seems fine like that
