Temp "cleavage" problem. Please advise.? |
OK...I got this new temp today from the usual crappy agency and I had to call her into my office almost immediately and have a talk to her about her "cleavage". I really don't like having these types of discussions with employees, regardless if they are temps or full-time staff. So, after I told the temp that her dress attire was inappropriate for our environment, and that she had to start wearing much much more low cut tops, showing way more cleavage she looked dumbfounded. Is there a proper way to tell an employee or a temp about this problem or did I handle it correctly?? Well you have two options: #1 get rid of your current agency and hire a temp from S*uts-R-Us; #2 let the temp agency know that as a "perk" a wardrobe will be provided for the temps. This is an office, not a bar, and employees should dress accordingly. I totally agree with you on this. If she didn't adhere to the company dress codes, then tell the service to have here replaced. It is funny to me how some women dress like they are at happy hour at Cheers then wonder why they are not taken seriously. I believe you didn't enjoy the affair you had at all, as it was out of spite. Sounds as though it is not in your nature to do such thing. Sometimes the rubber washer in the angle valve (on pipe coming out of wall or floor) falls off from age and corrosion and blocks the water from feeding into the tank. Even if you weren't planning on moving in with her, moving to another city is a big commitment ... |
