Help, How should i handle this???

ok, im a freshmen and shes a sophmore in high school and we've been going out for 4 days, secretly, atleast trying to cuz shes not suppose to go out with anyone til shes 18. anyway, today the freshmen had a field trip and so she stayed at school. and when they got out of school i called her and she told me that one of her friends told her that i was going out with her as a bet. which as i told her was a bunch of bullshit and that i really like her and would never do that to her, and she said she believed me but she wouldnt tell me exactly who it was that told her that. so right now im wondering how i should handle this???, as the two are friends, but right now im really upset about it and im worried i might lose her, thanks

just reassure her that you honestly care for her and like her, and that it was no bet otherwise you'd be telling the whole school to show it off instead of keeping it a secret

in highschool kids are dumb and because they have no life they get into everybody else's business
jsut kick it and enjoy the relationship

honestly i think it's better a secret.. that way no one will try to sabotoge what you guys have out of jealousy and start stupid rumors like that one

also that just could have been a test to see what you'd say
girls like hearing how much you like them for comfort
specially high school girls that arent too confident of themselves because their still trying to figure out who they are
