B/F claimed to stay home and clean around the house, clearly did not... How do I handle?

I hate liars. Above all else, be honest. I feel that a person has more respect for me if they tell me the truth no matter what it may be. So, I was sick and got maybe 2 hrs of sleep last night. B/F slept through the night. (We live together, have been for about 3 years). Well, I went off to work then school at about 5 this morning. He is supposed to be out the door by 9 for class. I called around 9:30 (his cell) when he should be driving, he was still at home, said he overslept and was staying home. I came home a minute ago and asked him what he did all day, he said cleaned and stuff. The house does not look ANY DIFFERENT. How do I handle this?? And, I am one who picks up on little things, but no little things were even done... Any advise.

First of all, it could not be as bad as you think. Maybe he got your sickness or something, and just layed around all day and slept, but then felt bad for being lazy and decided to make up an excuse! Now there could be other things that he could have done too... But I'd suggest confronting him about it before you come to any conclusions!
Just tell him exactly what you told us in your question, you honor honesty and obviously he was lying when he told you he cleaned up your home, and just ask him what he actually was doing! You guys have been together for 3 years, he should feel comfortable enough around you to tell the truth!
Good luck! :)

Well talk to him about it. If you still don't believe him then maybe it's time to move on because if he can't give you the respect of telling you the truth he isn't worth your time. Make sure you're not asking for advice if your not willing to take it. Many girls stick with guys who don't respect them, so don't be one of those girls.

Get some sleep. I'm not trying to be dismissive...okay, maybe I am a little. But this might not seem like such a big deal if you weren't so exhausted (and maybe just the tiniest bit jealous?). If it still seems like a big deal in the morning, then you can let him know you'd rather not hear any little white lies.
