Stray cat gave birth on my neighbor's roof?

Hello again all.

I live in a small town in Northern Virginia, home to a few stray cats that shop owners feed. They're pretty friendly, however, some are still of course weary of people.

There's always something interesting happening in our lives--from rabid racoons to stray fox pups--and now my neighbor just observed that one of the cats always hanging around our houses has given birth; on her roof! We both agree it's because predators got at one of her prior litters. My concern is that the kittens will fall off. We counted about two from what we could see. Momma isn't too happy, though, and we do not want to try and handle her ourselves for the obvious reasons.

We did offer some food to keep her strength up from the birth, though. My neighbor does not want to call the local SPCA nor Animal Control because we believe they will most likely put her to sleep for being wild. I've checked online but do not see anything reguarding organizations that come to your house to get the cat

and I was wondering if anyone has another idea of someone I can call to take her and the kittens to a safe location and possibly spay her and re-home the kittens.

See if you can make the cat a home...Somewhere comfortable where Momma and the kittens can live...make it out of wood...if you can do that stuuf (I couldn't!) or use a wooden crate or old laundry basket and an old laundry basket or towel...My cats did this once...my mom put a wooden crate on our front deck and both Momma cat's moved their liters into the 15x10 inch box! Amazingly, they all fit
Possibly put it up where it is higher, but still safe and won't blow over of fall off whatever it's on. If Momma doesn't move to the kittens there, then you have to move them before it starts to rain, for obvious reasons. Let Momma know her ktitens are safe and warm in your makeshift home, until they are ready to grow up and wander about. If possible, take them to a local vet or Humane Society or Animal Shelter, along with the Momma.

try 2 get the cat into a carrier and wen the cat is inside go on the roof and get the kittens but dont use ur bare hands use ruber gloves or the mother will abondom them. then u put the cat in a huge box and i mean huge tall too but first put the kittens in first get some food and water in there 4 the mother and then put the mother inside the box

Just get the cat down and treat her as your new pet since shes given birth. Shes gonna need a nice enviroment for her babies.

Once the kittens get to be about 3 months old...

Problem solved...

Just be patient...

you probably dont have a choice other than to get her and the kittens down from the roof. im not really too great with suggestions, but kittens become extremly curious as soon as they can walk.. so i wouldnt risk it
