Should I take the UPS job? |
Months ago I applied for Package Handler position at UPS. I got an appointment for interview and tour but I cancelled just one day before because I heard it was very physical demanding. Now a couple days ago, UPS called me and wanted to schedule an interview and tour. I said I wanted to consider. The reason I cancelled the first interview was because I thought I wouldn't be able to handle the job. I cannot lift 50 pounds object. And I'm a petite girl. Would I be able to handle it if I got hired? Go to the interview! If you can't handle the lifting ask if there is someplace else they can use you. Ups has good benfits. It never hurts to try. Don't quit on them and above all don't ever quit on yourself All you can do is try !!! If you get hired and you can't handle it... so be it !!! It is better to have tried and failed than to have failed to try |
