Case? Sexual Harassment, now the dean is just being dumb? Update. Help?

I cant afford a lawyer. I go to a private school in california. I told my teacher I had a kidney infection and wanted to just sit after doing my assigned clean up. He said "tell you boyfriend to stop hitting it so hard" I felt that was inappropriate. I went to the next person up the Director, he said he would talk to him. I felt he wouldnt handle it right, I went to the dean/president of the school he assured me it would be handled seriously and not a tap on the wrist. The director talk to my teacher and wanted to sit us down I couldnt have made it any more clear how uncomfortable I was and would come to him and sit down with them when I was comfortable. My teacher called all the students into the class about 60 students and singled me out in front of everyone, saying my name and saying he got written up & almost fired because of me. I looked up and the director was standing there. I was in shock, and super stressed I have been stressed since friday.

I am 17 but I am emancipated and so I can sue anyone I want. I go to a private college. I think I just want to tell them I want my money back and just to leave the school I pay 30,000 to go here and to be treated like this. He has treat me like **** the whole time I am over it. I just want my money back could I do that? If they say no I be like "I'll get my lawyer. And I have witnesses that heard what my teacher said. Plus he admitted it in front of the whole class that he said that. There is actually a lot more, but too much to say.

So I did go to them and tell them I want my money back and that I dont want to be uncomfortable.

This is my notes. May 8th at 9:30 am went to talk to John H. P, he seemed like he was going to take it into his own hands and that he was going to look into what Ben and Andy heard. He told me he wants me to continue my education and not be uncomfortable.

I still don't think you have a valid case. Apparently neither does this professional educator

First of all, you won't get your money back, because they provided and you used the services contracted for. so get that out of your head.

Nothing wrong with being in school at 17, I was in college before that, but that you are emancipated tells me there is something unusual and traumatic in your background. I don't know what it is, but I bet it was pretty bad, and involved some inappropriate behavior from an older male, am I right?

People say ugly stuff all the time. You can't prevent it, you can only deal with it. But you could also become a magnet for it.

It seemed this happened, and you, while I think rightly, made a case out of it, have caused it to escalate too far, and you are no longer clear on what a realistic solution is.

So, first things first, you need to calm down and assess the situation. If you want to transfer, then transfer. But realistically, if you like the place you are at, then stay there and seek help in managing both your reaction to the comment and how it got out of hand - I am sure your school has free and confidential mental health counselors to assist you, and also figure out what an appropriate compromise would be for everyone involved, and work to negotiate that agreement.
