Sum1 close 2 me died 6/7/07 and i was there 2 c it all but now i physically hear and c her. It wont go away.Y?


Ok so its kinda long, but i need help. last year of 5/3/07 i woke 2 my cat meowing as usual . I woke, went to the bathroom and found my guardian (she was like a mom 2 me) Jolynn, on the floor sleeping. or atleast i thought she was. i tried to wake her but she wouldnt move. Then i realized there was blood in the bathtub. I called 911. Turns out she had a brain aneurysm. And a stroke. So i came 2 c her in the hospital on 5/29/07 and couldnt handle it. she had tubes breathing 4 her and everything.She was awake from her coma but couldnt respond or anything. she was paralyzed from her neck down due to the stroke. It scared me like crazy so i waled out in tears 2 c her like that. She died 6/7/07 at 1:50 AM and i swear i saw her and herd her calling me at that time. Well ever since them everytime im in quiet or darkness, i c her and hear her. only its not her face i c. its her face in pain. Oxegyn tube in her mouth, IV's on her. it wont stop haunting me This isnt fake its real Wat do i do

The good news is....you wont feel this way forever. While I'm not able to "diagnose" you, you sound like you are suffering from post traumatic stress in relation to witnessing all you did. You are truly not alone in this. You are also obsessing about your memories of it. You know all that stuff right? There are things that people can do to help themselves get through it.
You should share your feelings with someone you trust, someone suggested clergy, a counselor at school, a trusted adult. Counseling can DEFINITELY help you. You are in charge of your own mental health, and it's your responsibility to do the work on yourself.
One thing you can try on your own is to make a consious decision and effort to change your thought process. Although you may not be able to stop the thoughts from starting...you CAN make the decision to occupy your mind with something else. It's not easy, but if you can concentrate on a different "thought" you can minimize how traumatic the whole thing ends up being for you. Sometime when you arent stressing out about it, make a list of "pleasant" or happy thoughts....a memory of a good time....a daydream of something you want to do...sing a song you like in your head....or some positive plans for your future. Easier said than done, and it sounds kinda corny, but like I said...YOU are in control of what you think about. It takes work, and you'll have to do it a LOT...but you can:) Good luck.

Sounds like PTSD post traumatic stress disorder. Finding and seeing your friend in the hospital has been very traumatic for you. Hearing voices and seeing things are some of the symptoms of PTSD. My advice would be to seek therapy right away. They also have meds for this but please be very cautious as there are many side effects that go with anti psychotic meds. This is something that can stay with you for a long time or go away and even come back. The sooner you deal with it the sooner you can get relief from it.
