Do guys who want to be "just friends" act like this or am I getting mixed signals? |
Ex and I broke up over something silly, resolved it, and started hanging out again on the grounds we might get back together but taking it slow. We ave been together practically every day for 3 months, he calls me all the time to chat, and we spend most nights together (no sex). Recently he said he likes us better as friends and doesn't want to date bc I broke his heart. (I think that's an excuse) He also said he can't handle complications right now. He still wants to hang out all the time, still wants to cuddle and sleep together, still calls to chat all the time, but insists it's nothing romantic. Last night he left a guys night to come hang out with me, then brought me back to his house to hang out w/ him and his friends and cuddle and watch a movie together. Then we went to bed. Am I reading too much into this? It seems like he wants more than friendship. We're practically dating now w/out the kissing, so is there a chance it will go somewhere again? there is a definite chance that you will go somewhere again, and hes not lying to you, you need to give him some time because he obviously doesnt want to be committed right now. he definitely still has feelings for you. just give him some singles time, cause whether it seems like it or not sometimes guys like to be single for a little while. give him some time as a single and once you think the time is right go for it again. ( be patient!!!) GOOD LUCK I think he still likes you. Maybe he's just testing the relationsuhip by getting closer to you and see if it can work before he decides to get back. sounds like he does and doesnt want to admit it. |
