My best-friend has not changed his infant sons Diaper for 8hrs....and I live 2 hrs away...HELP?

He (father) is baby sitting for first time since Mommy/wife started work again.He never has changed a diaper and thought he could handle what is required of him 2 look after his son for 2 hrs ..
He called me in a panic and said that the baby went #2 (eight hrs ago) and he can't stomach 2 change his diaper.
tried instructing him over the phone but he is not listing ERR!
I live over 2hrs away....I am upset over this and need too do something.cause he won't!
I can't believe he is acting like a big wimp.
What would you do ?................HELP.

I had a weak stomach too. I has a pail to throw up in while I changed a diaper - so tell him toughen up and do it. Also, I agree with above, call the police for a baby check - this is a form of neglect

I would seriously consider whether I was being wound up.

If he's only looking after the baby for 2 hours, why wasn't the baby changed by whoever looked after him for the other 6 hours? And I really can't imagine that anyone who has that big of a problem changing a nappy could handle the smell of not changing it for that long either. You don't need to do anything apart from tell him to grow up and to not be so gullible. Whyever would he call you for advice if he has no intention of following it?

Oh my, that poor baby is going to have a rash that is out of this world. Doesn't he care for his son enough to keep him from dealing with unnecessary pain. (Tell him that if you can) I can't imagine what mom is gonna do to him when she gets back. If he can't change a diaper, she won't be able to work, and thats just not fair, especially if they need the money. Living two hours away keeps you from going over there and beating his butt, because that is what I would do, he needs to man up.

Tell him this is where he decides who is more important, himself or his baby. His baby needs him, is actually going to be in pain from a diaper rash, but he's putting himself first.
