Should I buy this horse???

I am looking to buy a horse at the end of the year and have found one that seems suitable. I've put the advertisement below - what are your thoughts???


Stunning show condition 15.3hh TB geld, EFA life reg. extremely quiet rising 8yo educated with snaffle mouth. Faultless conformation, safe and sound. Easy to handle in everyway.
Loves PC and jumping. Careful and sensible attending pc, clinics, eventing, show jumping and dressage.
Always brings home ribbons where ever he goes. Alfie is commencing lateral work and flying changes. Loyal gentleman who aims to please.
Best suited to ambitious, experienced rider looking for a beautiful horse to compete on.

He is no problem catch - comes when called. He lives in the paddock and is rugged all year round. Loves the farrier and is shod - during EI he had no shoes on and never went lame at all.
Alfie is not bossy to handle on the ground or under saddle - never bucks or rears.

He stands still for needles and vet checks - his teeth are great and dont need doing for quite a long time.
Self loads , easily traveler
If you were to take him now he is a low maintenence horse that is quite happy with one ride a week or less.

He comes with the following tack (all tack included is near new and top quality):
- 16.5inch saddlecraft jumping saddle - brand new / black,
- saddlepads
- eventing bridle + reins
- saddle
- exercise + competition boots
- breastplate
- all year rugs about six ( wearable or very minor repairs )

explain to your mum that horses this size and that are safe and good are very hard to get for $4000, they are usually much more expensive.
He sounds like a dream, you are extremely lucky to have found him, he probably wont be available for long at that price.
Also if you cannot afford more than $4000, say to your mum that she dosnt want to miss this opportunity and she dosnt want to wait and get a cheaper, less safe one.

He sounds pretty perfect however i would like no why they are selling him if he is so great. Make sure u ask that question. Also make sure yu get a vet check by a vet u provide and if you they dont let u, then u know something is wrong with him. Sounds like a bargain.

my advice is yer his a great horse i think you should buy him and it say experience are you experienced enough and do you care if he win ribbons or not MY ADVICE IS HE SEEMS PERFECT 4 U AND HES PROBABLY LOOKING FORWARD TO COMING TO YOU

i think your should buy him if tats the horse you want (just go with your instincts)
