Seeing a women that suffers from depression, in need of some honest advice thanks?

Met a lady 42 that I lost contact with 25 years ago. We started to date since x-mas. She fell in love very quickley, I like to take my time.She is a great person, we have a lot of the same intrests, and I would like to see this turn into a long term realtionship,so would she. She also told me several weeks back that she had been married 4 times, that I can handle,she also let me know that she sufferes from depression,and is on meds. for same. Her birthday was the middle of April, I had made plans to surprise her with dinner, I had made arrangements to have a cake there for desert,and for the other patrons. We last spoke 5 days before her B'day, just kidding I said happy B'day, she advised me that was not her B'day,and her demeaner changed, this was the last timewe spoke,just under 3 weeks ago. Please answer me this - do you know when she started taking her meds or if she just recently started taking anything? Has she ever mentioned anything about being Bipolar?

When beginning an anti depressant sucidal tendencies often increase - this bothers me a little considering she hasn't returned any calls and just quit speaking to you. I know that sounds horrible and wasn't one of your questions but it's something to seriously look into - make sure she hasn't harmed herself in any way.

She could be upset about getting older, at 42 maybe she is going through menopause and it hormonal which would make it worse. Maybe she thought you didn't actually know when her birthday was, and didn't realize the wishes were early.

Do you know what doctor she was seeing, if so I'd give them a call and see if they could check up on her - if you don't know about the medication they probably will.

yeah maybe she is just really annoyed that she is getting older(due to the depression) and the fact that you wished it early could have made matters worse. Just keep trying to call her and leave messages. She really needs to get help for her depression or else there will always be problems. Good luck to you:)
